PROGRAMMER'S ALERT:
There are many upgrades during the course of this month if , ncase you haven’t been up to date with programming/developer news over the past few days I’m going to give you a quick run down of some of the major announcements.
- NetBeans 6.7 released! - Some new additions to the popular open source IDE (click on the link to see them).
- VirtualBox 3.0.0 released! - For all those virtual machine fans VirtualBox 3.0 might be worth your time.
- PHP 5.3.0 has been released! - Lots of new features have been added to the release like Namespaces and Lambda functions.
- FreeDOS turn 15 years old! - This old timer is still going strong and is even being bundled with new netbooks.
- Firefox 3.5 released! - When it comes to browsers I’m happy with my Firefox and now Mozilla claims that Firefox is 2x faster.
Every Program mentioned I hope is an Open Source , So this I hope is an open source week ... so stay tuned for many more updates ... ! !
